My life is dedicated to you. Forgive me for the times when I may have done things beyond your heart's desire. I am down and out right now. I feel like my defenses are telling me that I have trusted my own understanding and have failed to trust in you. Thank you for staying with me all throughout my failures and inhibitions. I surrender my life to you. Open my eyes and lead me back into your arms. Make me a man after your own heart. Take me away from all the things that stray me from your will. Sometimes my life has diverted me from all your beautiful promises. I have set my heart on temporary things that make me happy and in turn I have forgotten my first love. You are my King, You are my Lord. I am your child. You know the walls that I will go through and you only want me to obey you because you know better than I do. You said in your words that "You have engraved me in the palm of your hands and your walls are continuously before me" Psalm 49:16. I declare that promise in my life. Be the Lord of my emotions, my fears, my dreams and my weaknesses. Be my strength, my hope and my promise-keeper. Without you, all the things that I do are all meaningless. You are my God. Thank you for dying on the cross for me. Your death and your rising has done it all for me. Not by my works but by your grace and your mercy that I am saved. I bow down before you and all that You are. For YOU are Holy, Holy, Holy. No one else can take your place. In you I am strengthened. In you I am satisfied. Take your place. This I ask in Jesus' name, Amen.
